PREFACE/
INTRODUCTION

A LITTLE BACKGROUND

The Spiritual Bulletin Board of Louisiana began in the mid-1990's in conjunction with a radio program (The Hour of Mercy) that aired on a secular radio station in Houma, LA.  That program began through the inspiration and work of multiple Catholics (and one non-Catholic [the technical producer]) in the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese. Fr. Duane Stenzel, OFM offered his spiritual guidance and support.  Although that program ended on that secular station after a couple of years, it moved to Radio Maria, U.S.  Fr. Duane ultimately moved to Alexandria, LA and became the Director of Radio Maria, U.S. until he died in January of 2011.

After that program ended, the Spiritual Bulletin Board of Louisiana continued from Houma.  Over the years, it has evolved from a minute or so "snippet" of broadcast time, that listed just enough events to fill whatever "dead air" that was left after each weekly radio program, into this current website - still with listed events - but now with much more.

Note:  Ever-so-often, email-blasts are sent out to 700+ recipients in Louisiana and elsewhere updating them on the latest posted events.  To receive these periodic "blasts", email your name and email address to:  louisianawim@gmail.com

Along the way, on this page, and other pages of the narrative, a visitor will often see "colored links".  These are links that will expand the topic that is being specifically written about, at the time.  Or, the link will offer a connection to another page of the story that might be material to that topic or relevant scripture citations.  At those locations, one can either "click" on the colored link, to go deeper into to that subject matter, or continue on.  That will be the visitor's choice. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Chapters may also often begin by reminding visitors of a few underlying issues that cut across most chapters.  First, that the page contents may often change, and secondly, the importance of certain signs and symbols, that are used in the narrative, as briefly explained, by the Catechism of the Catholic Church in Paragraph No. 1146 and 1147

Note:  Sorry if those reminders seem, at times, as though they are overly-repetitive.  Some visitors go only to certain pages.  Therefore, the reminders must be repeated in multiple locations.  If that bothers you, please don't leave the narrative because of that.  Just skip over them after reading them once.

NOW, ONWARD TO THE PREFACE/INTRODUCTION

This preface and introductory page has been developed to try and help visitors negotiate their way through the multiple chapters of what is herein called "Louisiana's Sacred Story".  Normally, it should not be too difficult when the chapters are so few and short. In this case, it is needed because the narrative may change daily - maybe multiple times per day - and sometimes maybe even hourly!  You are inside of a unique story as it is trying to be written!

 â€‹â€‹â€‹

Why tell it at all?  While helping to open new eucharistic adoration chapels and increase eucharistic adoration, in existing chapels across Louisiana over the last 30+ years, this story has just "bloomed" over the years.  The many personal experiences, with faith-filled Louisiana-connected individuals, met along the way in Louisiana and elsewhere, has produced a one-of-kind story that needs be told.

This author's personal desire to increase eucharistic devotion was the "vehicle" the Holy Spirit used to "fuel" the journey along its way.  This author's 50+ year land and agriculture business background in Louisiana helped this author to try to understand, connect and relate what God might be saying by using the substances of at least land and water, as symbols, to deliver a message over time.  Sometimes the message was initially understood correctly by the author - oftentimes, initially incorrectly by the author!  But always received in reverence and awe!   â€‹

Not expected or seen from the beginning, but now by looking back, the author can see it has been like discovering "spiritual footprints" that have silently remained for many years waiting to be discovered, connected and utilized, at the appropriate time.  It is believed, by this author, that now we are "deep" into that time!  And, we are moving deeper into that time as we move toward Pentecost, 2033.

This author fully recognizes that there is a very serious level of accountability connected to disclosing or trying to explain these types of discerned findings, when they so seriously impact the spiritual lives of many souls.  This is a responsibility that this author takes with fear and trembling.  This is not a game!

As the years have passed, this author has shared the increasing amounts of information by personal presentations to many different groups across Louisiana in a piece-meal fashion.  They were explained piece-meal because that is how they were revealed and discovered - piecemeal!  Always asking, "what is the message in all this"?  What is the Holy Spirit saying?  The answers, replies and input from many, along the way, have been very informative and helpful.

Over time, the presentations started taking on more of a flowing-type narrative that tended to grow from piece-to-piece and action-to-action.  Each "Random Act of Faith" performed by the "little ones" of Louisiana built upon the events and actions that were before them - going back thousands of years.  All building up to today, in the seen and unseen (the visible and invisible) Church, and what is presently being battled over, across Louisana and America!  We should now ask ourselves, and each other, in total faith, "Quo Vadis" or "Where are you going?"  The Holy Spirit is there to answer that for us, if we sincerely ask in prayer.  We must constantly call on Him for those answers.

This narrative will try to better express the messages or themes that have surfaced over the years.  It is asked that this story be prayerfully considered by Louisiana-connected Catholics, and other Christians that want to truly evangelize others.  These chapters are the beginning of trying to write down and transmit those messages, themes and/or teachings.  It is not this author's story, that is being written here, but instead a "Louisiana Sacred Story" trying to be written - by this author.  â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Over the vast majority of those years, it was like collecting pieces of a puzzle, while trying to discern what was the message of each piece, while trying to figure out how the pieces may fit together - even before it was known to be a puzzle that would fit together!  At the very beginning, it was only through small inspirations of the Holy Spirit that much of the information was even kept at all.  Early on, it was kept because, at times, it was so overwhelming it had to mean something!  Or conversely, too amazing not to keep!  â€‹â€‹â€‹

Please bear with this author as he tries to develop this story on this website!  As previously stated, these pages will change often as the chapters are more fully developed and woven together.  Always looking for better words/ways to exactly express what is often very hard for this author to fully explain.  At times, because of its importance and/or this author's personal limitations, it seems to be the work of an overly-obsessive "wordsmith".

Unlike other stories that may be concluded, this one is not.  It appears to be continuing to unfold.  Each visitor, as they return to this site may see the story, with another chapter, or written a little different (and hopefully) more clearly explained.  A regular visitor to this narrative will see this story as it is written

If this story ends up one day, as it is perceived it may be heading to (because many people [for whatever reasons] do not visit websites or go on the internet at all), what may later be a more standard paper form.  Waiting for confirmations to all that!  We shall see.  Only God knows!

Note:  The now deceased, Bishop Joseph N. Latino, while a Monsignor and the Rector of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, in Houma, LA, (later the Bishop of Jackson, MS), was the first person with authority, whose actions actually directed this author down the road of trying to increase eucharistic adoration - the devotion that underlies this whole effort.  When Monsignor Latino asked this author in 1994, "Do you want to be the coordinator of the adoration chapel?", a journey began that is still being traveled today!

There is also a personal reason to now begin to write down this story.  If it is not written fairly soon, due to the age of its author, it may never be written at all.  To have traveled all these years across Louisiana, and to have seen what the Holy Spirit has revealed, and to not at least attempt to put it down in writing, for others to have the opportunity to know and hopefully use, would be very wrong.  In the business world, it would be like not closing the deal!

It is hoped that this sacred story will give some ministry assistance to those who read its pages and who are now in (or considering) active ministry in Louisiana and elsewhere.  Additionally, it is hoped that it will also precipitate a robust discussion about evangelization.  Not one of competition between souls but one of cooperation by all, against a common spiritual enemy - who is not made of flesh and bone.

That discussion about evangelization should seriously include the important role of the laity of the Church, as connected in and to the State of Louisiana, as the historic "signs' and "symbols". described in the different chapters of this story, seem to indicate it must.  We should intensely scout the horizon for the "good fruit" produced, from at least increased eucharistic devotion, and the powerful actions that would tend to flow out from such acts of devotion and sacrifice.  The timely challenge to Louisiana-connected Catholics, and to other Christians, that are mutually connected in-the-spirit to Louisiana's "anointing", that is to now even more go out and evangelize across America!  â€‹â€‹

Note:  The image at the very top of each page of this website is a pictorial representation of that Holy Spirit power flowing outwords from Louisiana across America would look like.  That historic preparation for the "going forth" is better explained on this page. (And yes, there are some that may be called to go international!)

We continue to ask the Holy Spirit for the grace to turn our "professed" internal faith into an "active" public faith!  To not only evangelize the "others", who we sit alongside of, in our common pews, and prayer groups, etc., but also the many "others", who we do not regularly associate with, but who are also in the public square, that typically are not so inclined to listen!  A impossible mission-field to be truly effective in, without the Holy Spirit, in this present-day America, where vices are abundant!

With all the above in mind, the main practical purpose of the Spiritual Bulletin Board of Louisiana is to first and foremost help provide and maintain a meaningful "network" of faith-filled relationships between Louisiana-connected, like-minded Catholics, and other Christians, and the Holy Spirit, as each soul tries to evangelize others in many different venues.

This is a very difficult time to evangelize in America's public square.  Kindred relationships formed by continued networking in faith, with the Holy Spirit directing the way, and building those relationships, is the most effective way to do that work - in an anointed way!  Without that anointing, it is just more work.  No one needs or wants just more work

Without that "Holy Spirit anointing", any work is unlikely to be spiritually successful!  In the unusual venue of being "in the world" but "not of the world", and with a goal to evangelize with patient endurance, alongside others of like mind and heart, the Holy Spirit is absolutely required for any sort of "deep"-seeded success.  Without the Holy Spirit working ahead, the Word of God is most likely to land on the 75% of the soil where it will not take root and grow.  (See Matthew Chapter 13)

As to successful evangelization, Pope John Paul II regularly said, "Duc in Altum!" or "Put out into the deep!"  So, with that in mind, put on those white kajun boots, my dear brothers and sisters.  In some of these chapters, we are going to put out into very deep water

With a faith that is "alive" in the Lord, let us cast out into deep "Living Waters"!  When out in that deep water, with faith, one cannot imagine what may be hooked - so stand firm and steadfast!  Hold tightly onto Jesus!  (See Matthew 4:18-22 and Mark 1:16-20 and Luke 5:1-11)

Fortunately, as Catholics, we do have access to the total deposit of faith developed over the last 2,000 years of the Church.  Working together with others, at times, there may be words and terms used that other Christian brothers and sisters may not be familiar with.  When that happens, please do not "tune out" and leave our company over what one may think what is meant.  Reach out to get a better understanding of what is really being expressed.

When reasonable questions are asked by and answered to, sincere non-Catholics, simply and with respect, it has been this author's personal experience, that we can continue to jointly walk side-by-side, under the powerful and healing name of Jesus Christ, to take on evil "acting badly" around us!

If this author cannot personally meet one's "need to know" requirements, from his personal "bank" of knowledge, an effort will be made to find a source who/that can.  This is a time for maximum "unification" - not "division" - as we move together to fight against the principalities and powers, ...the world rulers of this present darkness, ...the evil spirits in the heavens!  (See Ephesians 6)

Another practical purpose of this narrative is to attempt to describe the very unique role that all Louisiana-connected Catholics, and other like-hearted Christians have, and why it is so important to even more embrace that role, in these days.  Individually, we each must receive and use the currently available graces, or in-turn each soul may risk loosing those graces, as well as the additional graces that is believed may become more available, as the Church moves toward Pentecost Sunday on June 5, 2033.

In this 30+ year journey, much has been learned while meeting, greeting, presenting and listening to mostly lay-Catholics (the "little" people of the Church) in prayer groups and parishes across the Louisiana about matters of faith.  (And, at times, to non-Catholic "little ones" as well.)  What this author has seen and experienced is quite revealing about the spiritual health and well-being of the "little ones" of the Remnant Church, and what their simple faith can accomplish - when acting in union with each other, under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit!        â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

            â€‹â€‹

Deep within us, we all know the "Who" we will ultimately meet when we exit time.  No one can be sure about one's own personal journey to get to that "divine appointment".  We are all discerning "little" pilgrims in-route to a final destination to meet the Most Holy Person there is - and He is our brother and our God!  It is prayed that this sacred story, narrated in the chapters to follow, may enlighten one's personal journey to prepare for that meeting.

 â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

To evangelize effectively from anywhere and everywhere, we must first surrender to the primary fact that the Holy Spirit calls us all to be fully obedient to Him and to His Word.  That first step alone stops many individuals from going forward!  Most do not want to give up control to the Holy Spirit.

To be most in tune to the Holy Spirit, it is critical to be "little".  Never forget, it is not our plan we are following.  It is God's plan!  By the shedding of His Most Precious Blood at Calvary, and the sending of the Holy Spirit to the Upper Room, the Church became the "mystical" instrument God chose, to carry out His plan in this current 2,000 year phase of this earthly journey!  Before we were in our Mother's womb, God knew us to be in His Church!  Praise God for that!

If one ultimately becomes "little", surrenders control, and decides to go further in faith, the Holy Spirit then offers personal guidance, by certain inspirations in one's life experiences, to lead one along the way.  Sometimes that guidance is gentle and sometimes not-so-gentle.  Then while there, in each life experience:

                             "Bloom Where You Are Planted"

Wherever one is planted at any time in life - bloom there!

At this point one might start to ask:  Why now to "cry out" from Louisiana?   Why now, after all these years, is it so important?  Some of the answers may be as follows:

       1.  Because now is indeed a very special time!  A time that has been building since the first Pentecost in the symbolic year of thirty three (33).  "Now" is a once in a "two-millinneum" time, as being monthly prepared for, laid-out and lived-out, by the Diocese of Lafayette, LA, in its Great Novena  - in route to Pentecost Sunday, June 5 2033.  Symbolically, it is 2,000 years after or forty jubilees after the first Pentecost!  "Now" is a fullness of time never-before experienced by a journeying pilgrim Church!  In 2033, the Church is numerically and symbolically crossing over into a "Spiritual Promised Land" with "new" graces available - that have never been available before!

      2.  Because, since the Book of Geneisis, land and soil and water have been shown to be important natural matter used by God, in His special relationship with souls.  The Holy Spirit used that natural material, over a great time, to uniquely create and form the land we now call "Louisiana", and because that is where we are planted!  From Louisiana proper and/or from elsewhere, in a unique Louisiana-Eucharistic-type-way, the Church is to now "cry out", and "venture out", in body and spirit across America.

This "little" Church from and connected to "Louisiana", that has been created and formed over the eons (from the most productive lands of America, and from its weathered mountains, that have been worn down in time and relocated into the sea), is now being called to go out into the "heartland" of America and evangelize with a "Eucharistic" spirit of "thanksgiving" and "sacrifice"!

       3.  Because the "Anawim" of  Louisiana (hereinafter called the "Louisianawim"), led by the Holy Spirit, have already stepped up and assumed the military role of being the "little sentinels" or the "little watchmen/watchwomen" that are stationed on the walls to warn!  The Louisianawim take that role very seriously.  That role has demanded, and still demands, that each soul obediently and constantly, day-in and day-out, "cry out" in warning (with purpose) across America!  Failure to now fulfill that role means temporary setbacks and unnecessary damage inflicted upon the Church.

To learn more about the real power of the "Anawim" (or the "little ones"), please read below what Pope Benedict XVI had to say about Jesus, and His secret strength destined to be revealed in His "little flock" and the "simple of heart", as written as part of his General Audience on February 15, 2006:

Yet his secret strength is destined in the end to be revealed, to show who God's true favourites are:  "Those who fear him", faithful to his words:  "those of low degree", "the hungry", "his servant Israel"; in other words, the community of the People of God who, like Mary, consist of people who are "poor", pure and simple of heart. It is that "little flock" which is told not to fear, for the Lord has been pleased to give it his Kingdom (cf. Lk 12: 32). And this Canticle invites us to join the tiny flock and the true members of the People of God in purity and simplicity of heart, in God's love.

Therefore, we are called to be a cohort of the "little sentinels" that loudly "cry out" as proclaimed, identified and empowered by such scriptures as:

Isaiah 62:6  Upon your walls, Jerusalem, I have stationed sentinels; By day and by night, they shall never be silent. You who are to remind the LORD, take no rest,

Exekiel 3:17  Son of man, I have appointed you a sentinel for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, you shall warn them for me.

We have been empowered, stationed and appointed, in time, to not be silent but instead to "cry out" to America -  just like Jonah was chosen to "cry out" to the people of Nineveh.  To listen what Archbishop Sheen had to say about Jonah, please click here.

The Louisianawim should first "cry out" to the Holy Spirit to give to each soul, who asks for it, a "lifestyle of simplicity" from which to further "cry out" (or evangelize) in the public square with power and might.  Having "small" and "childlike" natures are shown to be very desirable, as proclaimed in the Gospel of Matthew.

(see Matthew 18: 1-5 and Matthew 19:13-15).

As evidenced in those two scripture readings in the Gospel of Matthew, a lay Catholic, or any Christian, does not need to be a scholar to evangelize!  To be observed by others in life, simply be as obedient as a good child.  If one is obedient and childlike, Jesus will draw near and the Holy Spirit will provide His nature in that soul.  Chapter 4, Verse 13 of the Acts of the Apostles evidences what people observed about St. Peter and St. John at the very beginning of their ministries:

Observing the boldness of Peter and John and perceiving them to be uneducated, ordinary men, they were amazed, and they recognized them as the companions of Jesus.

Acting as anointed ones should, Louisiana Catholics, and all other Christians, should first begin to even louder "cry out" about the very real "announcement" made on April 8, 2024 concerning the darkness that currently looms over America.  On that "Annunciation Day" in 2024, Our Lady used the actual sun and moon - the same heavenly bodies that She was allowed to use in symbolic-form in 1531 at Guadalupe - to deliver a simular announcement to America concerning the value of human life!  Although Her announcement has not been completely ignored since 2024, it has to-date been mostly ignored.  To learn more about that 2024 warning to America, please click here.

Note:  As possible further examples of "crying out" from Louisiana, it would be very appropriate at this point to ask a visitor to prayerfully consider, what may be the spiritual effects of the Sixth Glorious Mystery, as first prayed from Louisiana in 1998, as that is narrated on this page of this website and/or the two blessings of America, carried out by Louisiana Catholics, one in 2001 and one 2020, as that is narrated on this page of this website?

   â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

What is presented within these pages is not meant to be limited to only Louisiana Catholics!  Or, even just Catholics alone!  Or, even strictly about one small body of land - Louisiana.  It is about all of the above and a "spirit of evangelization" - an "anointing" that excludes no person or place in America.

The USCCB reminded the entire American Church, in November of 2002, that all Christians are called to "go and make disciples"!  There are no limitations to that calling!  As Catholics though, we do have access to the Church's "full deposit of faith"!  The use of that deposit of faith is not limited to Catholics!

If you are reading this and you are not from Louisiana and/or not Catholic - no problem!  The information in this website is meant to be relatable to all Christians, and is for all Christians to use - wherever one is "planted" in America!  No one is to be left out!

As previously stated, we are all called to be "little" and "childlike"!  Those gifts are received from God!  We ask the Holy Spirit to help all of us to become more "obedient and childlike"!  To listen what Fr. Prentice Tipton says in his homily about being "little", please click here

In part, this sacred story is much about living and sharing a common "lifestyle" - a "spirituality of childlike simplicity" - and then to use that "lifestyle", to minister alongside others, of like mind and heart, in one's own life - wherever one is located

Those are graces/gifts that the Holy Spirit can abundantly provide to any individual, once asked for with faith, obedience and thanksgiving.  These qualities do not come from plans or programs.  These graces come from the Holy Spirit!

Pope Paul VI reminds us that it is all about the Holy Spirit!

TO CLOSE

If you have continued to read this far on this page, you have gone much further than about 95% of its visitors.  By this time (typically 10 to 15 minutes into this read), most have left the website and have gone elsewhere in search of something else - possibly something much more exciting to their senses - maybe a video that has little relevance to where one is actually planted - and/or what one must do where one is planted!  In other words - a possible distraction from one's assigned duties to "cry out from the wall"!

These pages may not be sensational, but at times, the information within them, along with much prayer, may stir your spirit with awesome wonder to be motivated to evangelize others - with even more understanding and courage and power!  If you are part of the 05% that are still here and reading, with sincere interest, you may be here for that reasonPraise God!  You are part of the Remnant Church!

If you are still reading and you are from "deep" South Louisiana (the "Modern Delta"), and you are wondering why, if this land is indeed so special, and blessed by God, why is it so spiritually repressed?  Be advised, the devil and his dark "delta demons" know quite well what that particular land, and the Remnant Church connected to it, is/are chosen and anointed to do in these times!  Knowing that, of course satan and his "delta demons" are therefore doing everything allowed to hinder those efforts.

A excellent counterattack to offsetting their direct diablical inflence, upon you and/or your actions, in that "Modern Delta" - a land area that seems to have been promised to do mighty works in these days, is to follow the powerful instructions that the Israelites were given when they crossed over into their "Promised Land"

(see the Chapter 1 of the Book of Joshua):

(emphasis underlined)

6 Be strong and steadfast, so that you may give this people possession of the land I swore to their ancestors that I would give them.

7 Only be strong and steadfast, being careful to observe the entire law which Moses my servant enjoined on you. Do not swerve from it either to the right or to the left, that you may succeed wherever you go.

8 Do not let this book of the law depart from your lips. Recite it by day and by night, that you may carefully observe all that is written in it; then you will attain your goal; then you will succeed.

9 I command you: be strong and steadfast! Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD, your God, is with you wherever you go.

Before wrapping this page up, consider reading about one black man, that was a Catholic from St. Mary Parish, LA, but could not practice as a Catholic.  Being truly "strong and steadfast", he still had an extremely powerful life as a Christian influencer, in the late 1800's and early 1900's.  To learn about William Joseph Seymour, please click here

As stated earlier, please visit these pages often because the information and format changes often - as they further develop by-the-day.  This author remains open to Holy Spirit "correction" and to His expanding this author's memories and personal limitations, to better express certain spiritual phenomenon and events from the past, as well as inspire avenues to better connect them all together - sometimes their being well over 30 years old.
