But, to be a lay scholar, and to strive to become more holy, and to try and make others more holy, is very good!  One example of such a Louisiana lay person is Dr. Brant Pitre.  It is hard to find a lay Catholic today any more active across America than Dr. Pitre.  Most practicing Catholics are keenly aware of his prolific amount of work on important topics of faith - especially the Holy Eucharist - and rightly so coming from Louisiana.  He is a good example of what the "Louisiana Anointing" can produce, if one is open to it. ​​   For information about Dr. Pitre and his productions, please go directly to his websites:                                          Dr. Brant J. Pitre                                       Catholic Productions​​   Discussions with many visitors to this website (and others) are revealing a very real problem, these days.  There is too much information readily available around us.  Then, with the uncertainties of AI entering the information mix, it will not only be too much but questionable in fact. ​   ​​​​​​   ​   We are called to bring our Catholic faith into the public square.  That is not an easy task.  Almost none of us are scholars like Dr. Pitre.  That is his particular calling.  But, the evil one often "tricks" our mind into us thinking that we are not "qualified" to go out and make disciples.  When thinking that, remember, God is the one who "qualifies!  The power to evangelize comes in our testimonies!

One of the main questions that should be asked of oneself is:  Am I responding as I should in the face of that "trickery" that tells me I am unqualified?  In most cases, we are absolutely not responding!  What then is lacking?  To begin with, a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit is needed!  If one is in a deep relationship with the Holy Spirit, He will increase one's faith and boldness in the face of such doubt.

   When one begins to wrongly believe one is unqualified to evangelize, remember what was recognized by the amazed Sanhedrin in Verse 13 of  Chapter 4 of the Acts of the Apostles, as St. Peter and St. John, hit the streets of Jerusalem, in boldness of the Holy Spirit, after Pentecost:

13 Observing the boldness of Peter and John and perceiving them to be uneducated, ordinary men, they were amazed, and they recognized them as the companions of Jesus.

           Come, Holy Spirit, make us "Companions of Jesus"!

   Most remain very comfortable to just "receive" from the Holy Spirit but then fail to fully reach out to others in order to "give away" what has just been "received".  The only way to fully "receive" the fullness of the gifts that the Holy Spirit gives is to "give them away" to others!  

   The mission field is getting more difficult to work in during these turbelent times.  As stated above, there is so much happening around us that tends to keep our minds off of the "things of God". There are many things we may want to know but really do not need to know.  How do we discern between the two?

   We should often ask the Holy Spirit to help us to discern what do we really need to know and what do we simply want to know.  If the Church could do that with regularity, with the help of the Holy Spirit guiding it, it would be well on its way to effectively evangelizing others. 

 

Our attention spans are very short.  Most readers today bounce from topic to topic and do not absorb much on the way.   If viewed and considered a bit longer, one would see that the information on this website, is not necessarily exciting in its nature, but has some underlying value to Louisiana Catholics who are sincere about evangelizing in the public square.  They will also in part begin to understand the anointing that is available to all.

So, wherever YOU are located, this is an opportunity to become aware of a Eucharistic anointing, that was first placed on a land over the eons of time, that is now trying to make its way into our hearts, and it is not limited by either time or space.  It is about trying to live a lifestyle of simple "Thanksgiving"!   So, trudge on, and
                               Partake of these living waters! 

   The content of these chapters is an attempt to help all put their minds back onto the things of God - that are first directly around us.  To help us turn away from the volumes of unneeded information that is available in every direction and to return to what has direct meaning for us and our families.  We are most responsible for reaching out to those who are immediately around us!  Come, Holy Spirit!  Help us to turn away from the unecessary distractions in our path!  Remember!

                            "Bloom Where YOU Are Planted"

   Even the good things that we do in our faith walk, with good intentions, can have a tendency to become habitual and automatic, at times.  We can tend to become "mechanical" even in practicing the best of devotions.  We can "feel" isolated and alone from the rest of the Church - even when praying alongside its members.  Being a "sentinel" can "feel" physically lonely!  We often "feel" we are on that wall alone!  We can tend to forget the importance of being "on watch" and ready to "warn"!
 
   Over the years of working with other laity across Louisiana to increase devotion in the Holy Eucharist, it has been found that isolation is a common "feeling" of eucharistic adorers.  To feel alone because there are perceived to be so few!  But, we are not alone!  We just feel alone!  When addressing this, we are beginning to touch upon common spiritual warfare symptoms, in our fight against satan and his followers, and they are much deeper than just "feelings"!

   The above are tactics used by the evil one to separate and divide the Church and to make it "feel" that it is hopeless.  The evil one entices us to move rapidly in accordance with our "feelings".  To combat that, we must slow down and go deeper than our "feelings" or emotions.  Our aim is to allow only the Holy Spirit to lead us. 

   A previous spiritual director once said that we often become like "spiritual butterballs" when we pray.  So full of our own prayer we are falling over in our perceived holiness.  His point was:  Unless we intentionally and studiously listen to the Holy Spirit, we move mostly by what we "feel" - not by what the Holy Spirit is telling us to do.  Feelings alone lead us nowhere that is anointed.  Therefore, we fail to take the last step in effective evangelization to others!  Come, Holy Spirit!  Show the Church how to follow only you!

    Often, when we feel we are "all prayed up" for the task before us, we often fail to move into an effective action mode!  If so, our action could be determined to be a "not anointed" one and it ends up with us just doing more "work".  In other words, we simply fail to "close the deal" and evangelize others, as we are all called to do!  Come, Holy Spirit, help us to hear your directives! 
    Let us stop again and revisit what Pope Paul VI said about that.

   Hopefully, this growing Sacred Story, within this website, can help all visitors to see that it is really about having a personal relationship with the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  We are not called to walk alone.  We are called to walk in community.  The relationship is not meant to be just a "Jesus and me" thing.  To that specific point, scripture says in:

   If you read it, is there any wonder why that reading is chosen as one of the readings for Pentecost? 

                       "Dry bones" are spiritually "dead bones"! 

       Come, Holy Spirit!  Bring life back into these dry bones!

   The reception of the Holy Spirit compels us to go forward and outward to give that life to others who are in need of it.  Dry (dead) bones cannot effectively evangelize!

   Louisiana has been created by some great life-giving waters to be a land of life and to bring that life to others!  In other words we are here and anointed to evangelize - uniquely made in the likeness of the Holy Eucharist!  Without walking in the Holy Spirit, we will fail in that mission!

   As you will read in the chapter titled Louisiana and the Holy Eucharist, this land we today call "Louisiana" was built over multiple millenneum using water and land from elsewhere.  It is a unique part of the earth that is the relocated aggregate of the "heartland" of America.  The best land in America brought southerly to the sea by the water of a "Great River". 

   A Great River of life-giving water that one might say runs through a present day "New Jerusalem" - should one dare to call America that (Revelation 21)!   Do not forget, the next and last chapter in scripture is the Glorious Return of Jesus (Chapter 22)!    If you do agree to accept the premise that America may be today's "New Jerusalem", then the "Heartland of America" (the water basin of the Great River) may be thought of as the "Holy Temple" in the center of that "New Jerusalem". (To help you accept that inspiration, please note the Holy Spirit "dove-like" outline of the water basin of the Great River and that the exact center of the name "Jerusalem" are the letters "USA").   

   If one seriously considers the signs and symbols left by God over the eons of time, then "Eucharistic Louisiana" might be considered to be a modern type of the "Holy Place" in that Holy Temple.  Then even further, if Louisiana is accepted to be the "Holy Place" in the Temple that is the Heartland of America, then the most southern area of Louisiana (the Modern Delta) might logically be considered to be a form of the modern-day "Holy of Holies" of the Temple.  Actually, the delta area of Louisiana was created by that Great River before, during and after the birth of Jesus! 

   The imagery above, is not unreasonable to at least consider because the signs and symbols, that are there, allows one to consider them as they are.  These things are what they are.  We should not ignore them.  The problem comes in trying to discern the message from "thing(s) that are".  Again, all this is further covered in the chapter titled Louisiana and the Holy Eucharist.   

   That signs and symbols, as used by God, are clearly explained in Paragraphs 1146 and 1147 of the Cathechism of the Catholic Church?  Simply put, God often chooses to speaks to us through signs and symbols.  As the creator of all things that are, He has the right and authority to do exactly that as He wills.

   Considering all the above, one very important symbol/sign that confronts Louisiana is the mother pelican feeding her baby chicks.  This symbol/sign particularly points to the tradition of the mother pelican sacrificing herself to feed her chicks so that they may live.  That is an age-old symbol/sign used by the Church of Jesus being lifted up and sacrificed on the cross so that all His creation may feed on and live in Him.  The mother pelican and Louisiana and their longstanding formal relationship, codified and then reaffirmed in 2006 in civil law, is very spiritually important to the Random Acts of Faith that might come out of Louisiana.   Again, this will be revealed in more detail in this chapter page of the website.

   The above are statements that would tend to lift up the Louisiana Church - who are watching and listening.  The Catholic Church of Louisiana is annointed by the Holy Spirit to uniquely move to lift Jesus up and draw all people to Him as the Eucharistic Lord - as He Returns in His Eucharistic Glory!

   When considering what was stated above about the Modern Delta being the considered the "Holy of Holies", note that the land itself does not originate in Louisiana.  Even more than the land its people all come from somewhere else as well.  The Louisiana Catholic Church of the Modern Delta is like an alien visitor in its own current land!  A land and a people both drawn here from elsewhere for a unique and Holy Mission - to prepare for the Glorious Eucharistic Return of Jesus!

   Be reminded of what Jesus declared in John 12:32 that: And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.  In the case of the Louisiana Modern Delta, He drew parts of the "earth" and His "little people" from elsewhere to lift Him up by their Random Acts of Faith made is His name.

   Recall here, Louisiana is formally symbolized by sacrifice and the Eucharist!  Conversely, what is done, by the Church, in this Modern Delta is "mystically" done on the lands from all those other land areas from which it is made.  This mystical phenomenon (poorly explained by this author) deserves deep reflection as to its deep meaning and the responsibilities that go with it.

   As He Returns in His Glory and in part Louisiana's role in that is covered in the chapter titled: "Louisiana and the Sixth Glorious Mystery".  That chapter's activity, that began on May 17, 1998, in Houma, LA, will speak for itself, when it is read.  That entire series of events and the specific praying for Jesus' Glorious Return through Our Lady's rosary may actually be one "fruit" of the anointing that has been legally promulgated to this land.

   The simple lifestyle of the Louisianawim often leads to performing Random Acts of Faith, without having to understand the end product before it is known, but still acting on Holy Spirit promptings while it remains unknown, is exampled and narrated in the chapter titled:  "Our Lady Blesses America in 2001 and 2020".  The simple actions written about in that chapter were randomly chosen to begin in July of 1996 (although they began much earlier) and have continued through 2020...and are continuing today!  The Sacred Story unfolds!  On Saturday, July 13, 1996 something very powerful commenced!  The "it" that began that day belong to Our Lady of Rosa Mystica is really not fully known but it was/is big!   One will read in the chapter last referenced that Our Lord allowed His Mother, under the title of Our Lady of America, to bless this great land of America twice in the face of and before two dark crises.  The first in 2001 (911) and the second in 2020 (the snake virus).  Multiple signs were left along the way, over the years, to affirm to all who will watch, listen and obey.               Our Lady of America, please pray and protect us!   The chapter titled:  "Our Lady Speaks to America in 2024" is the one that gives this author the most instant concern.  The fact that Our Lady warned America so clearly in 2024 and then so few of Her Children are paying attention at all to what She specifically identified for them, using the heavenlies themselves, is very, very worrisome.   It seems like time is of the essence for America.   The Holy Spirit set up a powerful natural phenomenon on the Solemnity of the Assumption in 2024 using some of the same signs and symbols that were used by Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1531.  In the first lyrics of the song: "There is a storm a comin" it states "goodbye to the sun".  America!  There is a storm a comin and I fear it is much greater than a weather event!   Our Lady, often is "associated with the moon".  At Guadalupe, in 1531, She symbolically stood on the cresent moon and blocked the sun.  Then, in 2024, She actually (used the moon) and blocked the sun in 2017 and again in 2024 in America.  Therefore, She has blocked the sun in these three different events so that Her Children might see and turn away from the darkness of death and into the light of life.  In the part of chapter that deals with the two events in America, the key take-away point is where the two solar eclipses intersected in the "Little Egypt" area of Illinois.  When seeing all that, how can we ignore Her warning?    The Aztecs obeyed Her!   America is struggling to obey Her!   As that song also repeats: "Run-boy-run"!  We cannot run away from what is coming!  In fact, She always reminds Her Children that  we must run to Her Son, Jesus!  As She has for hundreds of years, She will remain the "guiding star" to all Her Children, as we run to Him under the Her beautiful title of:                                  Our Lady, Star of the Sea.          Morgan City, LA area is has been on board for 50 years!Actually, Our Lady will often lead us to, with, and on behalf of Her Son to run into the storm where we can evangelize in the crisis!   Led by the Holy Spirit, we can be an effective " Christ" in the crisis of any storm!         If may appear in this narrative that this author is claiming that Louisiana is thought to be holier than other place.  That would be a grave misunderstanding.  This author nor Louisiana has the authority to assign the level holiness to anything.  Only God has that sole authority.    It is only because of the signs and symbols left by the Holy Spirit, over the years, that we even dare to speak of "holy" and Louisiana in the same breath.  Whatever level of anointing or its resulting holiness there might be from a sincere "YES", only God knows for sure.  He is the King of the kingdom!  Actually, if one studies the secular history of Louisiana, there is much that evidences that Louisiana citizens have responded in less than "holy" ways to many matters in the world.  Remember, we are called to be in the world - not of the world!   The signs and wonders are clear, convincing and affirming.  Another battlefield has been assigned.  And, Louisiana is indeed an important one.  It seems that God has uniquely created and anointed Louisiana to evangelize in the power of the Holy Eucharist in these times!   Questions presently before us, in faith, are such as:  Do we really believe what we see?   Are we seriously discerning and choosing correctly in the face of those signs and symbols?  Most importantly:  What is their personal message to us?  As when the angels made choices before time began, some of creation in time will obey and serve Jesus and some will not serve Him.                                 Serviam or Non Serviam                                 (2/3 = YES or 1/3 = NO).    The saying that "a picture is worth a thousand words" is a good one to use for such mystical matters that are hard to put into words.  The image placed at the top of each page of this website is a pictorial demonstration of what is perceived Louisiana's role is (and will be) - as the Church journeys through a novena of years toward a New Pentecost!  The Church is headed to its 2000th Pentecost on June 4, 2033!                    (Forty; fifty year jubilees - a special time.)                            Oh, what a time to Praise God!   As you will read and see, all the pages in this website are under continuing development.  One reason for that is because this is a Sacred Story that is not over and it is trying to be told by an inadquate story-teller.    No telling what is next!  As a example:  Who could have ever imagined that the Church would have a Holy Father in Rome with maternal ancestral roots deep in Louisiana!?  Not imagined but not unexpected!  All this is preparing a Louisiana-connected Church and getting it ready for Pentecost 2033...and thereafter!      This Sacred Story about Louisiana is not about any one person or groups of people or even a certain movement.  It is simply about the Church in Louisiana in its totality - ALL PERSONS in time (past, present and future) moving in unison in the Divine Will to evangelize.  The Church Militant of Louisiana - the "Louisianawim" moving together in the Divine Will of God with the Church Triumphant, the Church Suffering and the Church Angelic!      And, what are our present-day scriptural instructions as we enter into this "New Spiritual Promised Land" that the Holy Spirit is preparing us for (and for us) in 2033?  For one set of instructions to follow, please read the Book of Joshua Chapter 1:6-9.     Absolutely none of the information across this website is original from this author.  It has all come either from the Holy Spirit and/or "others" also on their journeys in time!  Credit and gratitude is due and given to all those "others" who have shared.  Only together, does the story develop and be fully told,  This site is simply an attempt to connect all the information, as it is received and understood.  As it does, hopefully, it is like putting new life back into those dry bones!     The only testimony and claim of this author is in his personal experiences and the sin that is connected to them.  That is totally owned by the author!  That first became abundantly and terribly clear on Sunday, March 1, 1992, at about 2:30 pm, when personally experiencing the third torture of hell, as described in Paragraph No. 741 of the Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kolwaska.  Nothing else is really owned by this author but his sin.  And as to those charges that accompany that sin, this author can only plead "GUILTY" as charged!  God's MERCY is requested with and in all respects to that.      After that radical experience in 1992, one can tend to become radical, when required to.  That tendency to be radical, at times, appears across the narrative presented in these chapters.  Sorry about that but there is no way to avoid it.                      We serve an awesome (and radical) God!
